Disher
Courier's Employee of
the YEAR!!!
Broker/Employee
of the YEAR:
Mohamed Jama affectionally known as Mojo,
is the epitome of what you would want in any employee.
As a father of 5 and with lovely wife Hodan, they are
indeed a very busy family, but yet he remains
committed to Disher Courier. Hmmm, father of 5, very
busy, lovely wife, sounds all too familiar.
Mojo handles a variety of duties for us. He is
a dispatcher, a CSR, works on site at some client
locations handling shipping duties and will even do the
odd delivery whenever necessary. His
versatility is a huge plus for us but may not be his
greatest asset.
With his pride in his work and complete
understanding of our clients needs, Mojo provides
extraordinary customer service that is quite noticeable
to anyone that deals with him. We love him and our
clients adore him, but yet this still may not be his
greatest asset.
Mojo's undaunted loyalty to me, my brother and
our clients has been by far his most important and
greatest asset displayed over the years. I swear, he
would take a bullet for me if I asked him and it would
be without any hesitation or complaints.
Without question, Mojo is one of our most valued
employees and is a big part of the success and
longevity of Disher Courier. I am proud to have him at
my side and it is my pleasure to honour Mohamed Jama as
the Employee/Broker of the Year for 2009. Thanks for
everything
Mojo!

BEER! The Best Present for Men that Money
Can Buy!
Have you ever had to try and buy a
present for a man, but haven't had a clue of where to
start? Well, here is a great idea: try beer! When you
try to buy something like a shirt or tie, it might not
fit, it might be the wrong color, and you risk the
chance of them not liking it.
The great thing about the holidays
is that it gives you a great excuse to treat the
important people in your life to some exotic and
interesting beers that might only be available during
the Christmas season.
Picking out a great Christmas beer
can be hard. However, there is a Christmas beer festival
in Belgium, the beer capital of the world, every year.
Here are some great suggestions for Christmas beer
straight from Essen, Belgium, and the best Christmas
beer connoisseurs in the world.
- The Anchor Steam
Christmas Ale: Anchor brewing (www.anchorbrewing.com) is
home to a unique beer that they create a customized
new recipe every Christmas season.
- Very Bad Elf Special
Reserve Ale: (www.sheltonbrothers.com) This
recipe is over 200 years old, and is an English Bitter
with some added holiday spice and sweetness.
- Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale:
This ale has taken home the Gold Medal from beer
judging competitions. This hoppy beer is known for its
aroma.
- Scrooge & Marley
Hazelnut Christmas Alemm: (www.huberbrewery.com)
Hazelnut is a unique flavor for beer that you won't
find often outside the holidays, making this a special
treat.
- Beer Man Sez: merry Christmas and a Hoppy New
Beer: (www.bigskybrew.com) A light beer
with heavy
flavor!

Canadian Winter
Fun!
No
matter where you are in Canada, you can enjoy great
winter activities. From the city of Quebec on the East
coast to the far West coast of the country, there is
always going to be something for you to enjoy during
what some consider to be the most spectacular season in
the country.
· Visit Quebec! The Ice Hotel: There is a
hotel made completely out of ice built outside Quebec
City every winter. A true winter wonder. The
Quebec Winter Festival: Enjoy all the best of winter in
one convenient festival at the end of
January.
· Skate the Rideau: Skating and Canada just goes
together in the country where Hockey is the most popular
sport. Skate the longest rink in the entire world!
· Get out and Try Ice Fishing: Canada is home to
almost endless lakes and resorts that offer some of the
best ice fishing in the world for all kinds of fish;
including pike, trout, and walleye.
· Go Snowshoeing or Dogsledding: Canada is home to
the spectacular Canadian Rockies. Both in the mountains
and out, you can find numerous companies offering both
snowshoe and dogsledding expeditions. Experience winter
the way Canadian's did 100 years ago.
· Go Skiing: Canada has some of the best skiing to
be had anywhere, and tourists come from all over the
world for their excitement in the Canadian powder. The
Rockies are home to great skiing, but the best mountain
in the country is just a few hours outside Vancouver at
Whistler/Blackcomb.

Preventing Christmas Tree
Fires
What's a holiday season without
a wonderfully decorated tree? If your household
includes a natural tree in its festivities,
"Keep the tree watered." That's good
advice and not just to create a fragrant indoor winter
wonderland atmosphere. Well watered trees are not a
problem. Dry and neglected trees are.
